Description

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
•Develops and implement clinical initiatives review curriculums, educates, and leads lectures and review sessions to prepare trainees for the NCLEX
•Facilitates classes in the USRN Academy Program to ensure operational nurse staffing requirements are met timely
•Assesses success rate of trainees based on performance and put interventions in place as remediation
•Ensures completion of trainees’ documentation for timely NCLEX scheduling and examination, as well as timely state licensure application and certification. Collaborates with Operations and Recruitment on pipeline requirements for timely delivery
•Partners with clinical consultant on development and maintenance of Clinical Services Orientation and USRN Academy curriculum
•Collaborates with clinical consultant for implementation of NCLEX review curriculum, performance improvement and process improvement of program
• Provides periodic reports, insights, risks, and recommended interventions on class progress and to Clinical Consultant and Business Operations
•Collaborates with Training, Quality and Operations to develop interventions and additional curriculum to the program to enhance clinical acumen
•Identifies continuous improvement opportunities
•Tracks, maintains, and reports on nurse scorecard for performance. Coaches, mentors, and provides feedback to trainees
•Requires an active license for USRN; 3 years of clinical instructor experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
