JOB POSITION
Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Sr QA Engineer having hands on experience on Automation Testing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
This position is primarily responsible for designing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium with strong communication skills
- 4 -7 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Coordinate all testing within a system area.
- Mentor the team in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Review all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plan and test cases based on ATDD process.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Analyze the test data requirements, account for test data management and resolve external dependency.
- Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrate them into business processes to address the needs of business.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Report issues, triage defects, monitor debugging process results and test the bug fix.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collects testing metrics, reports status as defined in test plan with supporting data.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet business needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
QUALIFICATION
- B.Tech /B.E /MCA
EXPERIENCE
- 4 -7 years of experience with Application / Automation testing
- Demonstrated success in full Application Development lifecycle implementations
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrated ability to perform and manage test execution activities.
- 4+ years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and Agile Testing Process
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Required knowledge on Selenium, with automation exposure on multiple browsers
- Good to have knowledge on MongoDB
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Good knowledge on working with the tools like Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, JAVA, Maven, BitBucket, Bamboo, Jira and Confluence required
