Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking profile with good knowledge in Java, Microservices, AWS, Spring batch, Spring Boot, Oracle/SQL & Angular programming who will be responsible for providing solution for business enquiries and analysis, design, and implementation of code/query changes within application.


Associate, will be responsible for the following:

Must Have:

  • Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with good communication skills
  • 5 to 7 years well versed experience on JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA
  • 5 to 7 years hands on in Spring boot, Spring, MVC framework, AOP, ORM Spring data, Spring batch or Spring schedulers.
  • 3 to 5 years hands on experience in REST API producers & Consumers implementations
  • Strong hands-on experience Java Persistence API, Log4j (any ELK tool knowledge like Kibana/Splunk is favorable)
  • 2 to 3 years of Kafka or any messaging queue experience
  • 1 to 2 years of Mongo DB or any NOSQL DB experience
  • 2to 4 years of hands on experience on Oracle and DB modelling
  • 1 to 2 years in JAVA file operations , FTP , SMTP/Java mail
  • 2 to 3 years  of experience Microservice Architecture with any cloud experience(AWS, AZURE, GCP)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with software registry service & load balancer implementations
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Eclipse, JIRA, BitBucket and Bamboo/Jenkins .
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with automated unit and integration testing using Junit and Mockito framework
  • 1 to 2 years of Agile/Scrum experience
  • Should have used build tools like maven, Sonar Qube, repo tools like Git and Bitbucket any security tools like Fortify or Veracode or CheckMarx

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Angular, Java Script, HTML, Node JS, Java Script
  • Working experience in healthcare domain is a plus.
  • Anthem experience with underwriting is preferred.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree


  • 8+ years of experience in  Java  , Microservices, Oracle, AWS


  • Develops relationships with the business and Onshore to better understand business requirements.
  • Work with Tech Lead to understand both business and technical requests and requirements and integrate those needs into capabilities.
  • Define the solution architecture and system design which is aligned to the common platform’s architectural best practices and goals.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and perform hands on development and unit testing.
  • Perform technical design and code reviews to maintain high quality and secure software.
  • Develop robust, reusable and reliable platform components which enhance the frameworks and services.
  • Co-ordinate onsite and offshore developers to provide training and making progress.
  • Grow as a developer by exchanging knowledge and ideas with team members and other developers.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ability to own the task and take it to closure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to work in shifts and weekends (as needed)
  • Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • A self-starter and team player, able to plan and execute complex tasks.
  • Perform high-level analysis and design.
  • Perform code changes as required.
  • Ability to communicate status to stakeholders in timely manner.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners and onshore leadership and team.
  • Ability to recognize and track trends, apply solution for commonly occurring incidents.
  • Collaborate with the team and drive process improvements
